Avance software creates a high-availability computing platform using two commodity servers to protect your applications against downtime and data loss. In production, Avance automatically synchronizes the two servers in real-time to ensure data integrity. In case of a fault on one server, your applications keep running on the healthy server without any manual intervention, performance degradation, or business interruption.

Transparent fault management

Avance automatically prevents downtime and data loss by continuously monitoring the server pair for faults. If Avance detects a server fault, the applications continue to run on the companion server and the systems administrator is automatically notified.

No onsite IT support required

With Avance remote monitoring, automated call-home, and alerting features, there is no need for on-site support. IT staff can manage performance issues from anywhere via the Web.

Upgrades and maintenance without downtime

By leveraging Avance’s dual-server architecture, one-click upgrades and repairs are completed on one server while your applications continue to run normally on the other node.

Local disaster recovery

Avance split-site lets you operate the parallel servers across three miles. This ensures that your applications are running even if one server location is hit with a local disaster.

Windows and Linux application support

Avance eliminates the need to separately manage downtime prevention tools for each operating system, saving you time and effort to devote to more important tasks.

Optimizes performance and resources

Avance manages all available server resources to ensure that, in case of a server failure, your applications continue to work properly on the companion server with no performance degradation.

No need for a storage area network (SAN)
