The
LP7000 provides full 1.0625 Gb/second Fibre Channel support
and sustains in excess of 85 MB/second and more than 20,000
events per second in benchmark tests. I/O connections to the
storage arrays are made via dual SC-type optical connectors
using single mode or multimode fiber optic cable for distances
up to 10 kilometers or by a DB-9 connector for copper cabling
and inter-node distances up to 30 meters, depending on the
model purchased.
