It provides a cost-effective solution for a wide range of storage networking requirements as a departmental SAN fabric core or as an edge switch in large enterprise core-to-edge SANs. The SilkWorm 3900 leverages Brocade Advanced Fabric Services to provide the highest levels of SAN performance, security, and manageability. It meets mission-critical availability requirements and increases performance by employing Brocade ISL Trunking to support data throughput up to 8 Gbit/sec.
